Welcome to the Museum of The American Revolution and Colonial America.
The purpose of this virtual museum is to inspire visitors with a broader understanding and appreciation for the everyday objects that played a part in the development of the United States during the Colonial and Revolutionary War periods.

The museum's educational mission is to provide a knowledgeable research component for students, historians, and collectors.

The objective here is to limit the amount of text as there are already many excellent books and web sites that discuss this period of history. Instead, most of the web space will be utilized to display images of historical artifacts from our collections, as viewing such items is the very reason that we love to visit museums. We hope to provide an enjoyable experience for all. Please visit often, as this site is constantly being updated with new images. Feel free to sign our guest book — your comments are always welcome.

Please remember to preserve history for future generations.

"The times that tried men's souls are over-and the greatest and completest revolution the world ever knew, gloriously and happily accomplished." — Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, No. 13, April 19, 1783
